As the proverb says, “Children of today are the citizens of tomorrow”, "Home is the first school", a child needs a good environment both at home and in school. It is the duty of the parents and teachers to recognize and encourage the hidden talent of every child. Teachers should mingle with children in creating the cultural atmosphere along with education in class rooms.
- Today’s children are quick in learning and their thirst for knowledge is to be quenched.
- In this direction, newspapers, radio, television, and computers play a great part.
- To develop the human values and also for their all round development of children of our school, it is necessary to install these electronic equipments.
We are indebted to Sivasri Foundation for installing them in our school.
- Teachers of C’Sandra school on 28 Aug 02 (literal translation from Kannada original)
We like to read the newspapers to know about day to day events. We are thrilled to know and learn through computers, which was beyond our reach, besides mere reading writing and homework. Healthy food helps us to concentrate better on our studies. We are thankful to Kannada Kasturi Balaga for providing us the mid-day meal and also to Sivasri Foundation for arranging it.
- Joint note from the students of C’Sandra School on 28th Aug 02 (literal translation from Kannada)
It is of great pleasure to all of us that by adopting our school, Sivasri Foundation is helping us in its progress. It is our earnest desire that the Foundation will help us in solving the problem of lack of class rooms.
