- A Project Coordinator at block headquarters
In overall charge of all schools in the block (typically, 250 schools form a block.) and the data collection, analysis and dissemination required.
- Mentors for visiting the schools
Visit each school at least once a month and ensure compliance to Sikshana. Typically one mentor covers about 15-20 schools.
- Field Workers providing logistic support
Typically college students are hired to visit the schools as often as needed and distribute memos, supplies etc.
- Local Mentors to mentor their school
Where there is a local resource available in the village they are deployed to mentor their school one day a week and report back to Sikshana on a monthly basis.
- A team of volunteers to back up the Mentors
Visit the schools, as needed, to get feedback (which may not be freely available to Mentors).
- Assessment throughout the year by an independent agency
To measure the learning levels of the children under the ASER and APF model.
- Monitoring and remedial action
Monitoring of scores under conventional examinations; remedial steps to ensure no student gets a grade less than B at 5th/ 7th Std levels.

By MBA students from reputed business schools in India.
