The school in Kadirenehalli is located in a densely populated area, just 100 mtrs from the Ring Road of Bangalore City. It has two multi-storied buildings going up to four floors. Classes are crammed with 60 plus kids in a single room. It has strength of 431 in seven Grades.

The school has adequate and well motivated teaching staff, producing good results on the academic front. It is capable of turning out students who can compete with those from the neighboring private schools. We have introduced computers in this school to enable multimedia based teaching, which is put to good use. With a number of incentives, we are pushing the school to become a model for the other schools under Sikshana. We are unfortunately unable to do much about the only major resource it lacks, which is space. Under the new policy of the Government, the land has to come from the local municipal body; which under the present circumstances of rocketing land prices in the vicinity seems to be a very difficult proposition.

Kids from this school on passing 7th Grade get preferred and automatic admissions in reputed High Schools. Hence there are very few dropouts at this stage. Of course, our scholarships also help a lot.
