Why partner with the State?

Need for Partnership with the State:

To make a meaningful impact, any intervention aiming to improve the state of the education in India needs to deal with the public school system.
Even though the state is striving to deliver quality education, the nature of the state itself is such that there are inherent limitations to the type of interventions with which it can get involved.
Realizing this, Karnataka has come up with an innovative scheme for nurturing the schools in partnership with NGOs.
These organisations can bring in out of the box thinking, experiment with ideas, fine tune them in a sub-section of the schools and then go on to implement the model statewide
